Volunteer Opportunities at
Mt. Tabor Monastery in Tecate, B.C., Mexico

Due to the great need of the neighboring population, the sisters who reside at Mt. Tabor Monastery have attempted to alleviate some of the suffering of the local poor.

The charitable services hosted by this Monastery are directed and organized primarily by lay people.

Our Monastery School provides free education and housing for deserving girls whose families cannot afford the cost of education.

Lay missionaries and staff help run and direct all programming.  Financial support comes from the 501 non-profit Organization called:
"Friends of the Trinitarians."

There are a wide range of lay volunteer opportunities at the Monastery School from simply sharing a little time with one of the girls, to volunteering in the kitchen, to participating in a missionary experience as a teacher
or house mom for one year.
